Contents of the curricular unit aim to provide the necessary learning to students to achieve the expected objectives. The theoretical concepts and practices to be developed in teaching activities allow students to gain the knowledge and be able to perform the essential actions to anyone who has to develop a website, with the quality necessary for its dissemination to a specific audience.
The work to be carried out within the scope of this UC will privilege the active participation of students, either in individual or group work, seeking to deepen knowledge related to the design and publication of products for the Web. Classes will be organized according to four components :
a) Reading, discussion and analysis of texts;
b) Resolution of practical activities;
c) Group work that will include the conception and elaboration of a prototype of a website (project);
d) Presentation and discussion of the projects (group work).
The four work components to be developed in the curricular unit provide work environments with diversity and multiplicity of situations. Students who participate in this unit must participate in individual activities and group activities, which will allow, on the one hand, the appropriation of theoretical concepts and the knowledge of computer tools for building websites, and on the other hand, the development of individual skills and teamwork.
Reading and discussing texts will allow students to acquire theoretical knowledge, practical activities will allow the acquisition of skills in the use of appropriate software, the construction of websites, the design, development and presentation of a project will allow the implementation of theoretical knowledge and competences referred to, applied to a specific situation and in the context of their academic activity.
The evaluation will be carried out through the student's participation in the classes, in the resolution of the proposed practical activities and their involvement in the conception, elaboration and presentation of a small work project (prototype of a website).
For students on a continuous assessment regime, the final classification will take into account the following weights:
The final classification will take into account the following weights:
Participation in classes and resolution of practical activities - 25%
Work / portfolio project - Design and development - 55%
Presentation and discussion - 20%
Students not covered by continuous assessment will be assessed through an exam test.
According to the institution's frequency and assessment regime.
